About TFF

Established in 1971 and now a second generation family run business, Thames Fixings and Fasteners Ltd has continued to provide a competitive, reliable and friendly service in the distribution of construction fixings, architectural ironmongery and industrial hosing.

From the humble beginnings of the family house garage, TFF had soon moved into an industrial unit in Cookham and then on to Wallingford by the early 80's. However after a number of years, this too was found to be limited in space and the search began for for a premises large enough to satisfy the growing company. In 1990, land was acquired at our current location in Didcot and work soon began on our current 15000 square foot distribution unit.

Thames Fixings moved in December of 1991 into its new premises. The addition of the Architectural Ironmongery showroom followed in 2005 to allow customers, architects and their clients greater feel and understanding for the right furniture or product for their project.

Further to this, in 2014 as demand grew and TFF entered newer areas of the market, the showroom was extended to include in-situ Eclisse sliding door gear and a greater range of manufacturers display boards.
